How it all became Spoggerige…

Spoggerige Braai Spice started from Kobus’ love of food and braai. Starting blending spices more than 10 years ago for his own use and for Braai and Potjie competitions, Kobus decided he would like to take his product to market after rave reviews from friends and competition judges.

Spoggerige Braai Spice first introduced the original recipe flavour and was launched in local deli’s and supermarkets surrounding Paarl in the Western Cape. This was a huge success for Kobus so he decided to introduce new flavour enhancers to accompany poultry and additional red meats, so the Chicken and BBQ Spices were born.
